Dr. William Torgesen has served for more than twenty-five years in ministry as a senior pastor. In addition, he served as a professor in the Pastoral Studies department at Moody Bible Institute for more than eleven years. He is a contributing author of The Moody Handbook of Preaching and Preparing for Ministry. He was also a frequent conference speaker and regular guest on WMBI’s radio programs. Pastor Bill earned his B.A. from Moody Bible Institute in Pastoral Studies. He earned his master’s and Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Bill and his wife, Terri, have four children, as well as beloved dogs. Bill loves to preach, loves to fish, and loves to golf. He cherishes his wife, children, and the church, but above all, his relationship with the Lord.
